An Invisible Force is a table which can answer questions. The user selects a question from a pack of question cards. They place their card in a slot in the table and push it down. The answer to their question is gradually spelt out on the surface of the table. There is a penalty for learning the answer - as the words arerevealed a metal plate under the the users hand becomes hotter and hotter, in this way they a forced to endure a level of pain in order to see the entire answer.

An Invisible Force has been exhibited widely - at Digital Arts Festival Tokyo in 2003; at Salone Del Mobile in Milan in 2004. It was awarded an honorary mention [Interactive Art Division] at the Prix Ars Electronica 2002.
